HCM Functional Analyst (Workday) (M/F/D)

YOUR TASKS

  • Support the functional analysts in configuring Workday.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday-related inquiries and escalations.
  • Collaborate with the HCM Change Analyst to facilitate user training sessions and provide ongoing post-implementation support.
  • Evaluate system performance and recommend enhancements or optimizations to maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain and configure templates, develop calculated fields, conditional routing, and business processes to support outlined requirements.
  • Mitigate opportunities for inaccurate data, business process routing, or impacts on other business areas.
  • Guide business stakeholders through Workday Release functionality reviews to decide on optional functionalities to activate with each release.
  • Support configuration updates for all Workday modules impacted by releases and upgrades.
  • Lead/Participate in interactive discussions regarding requirements and possible configuration methods within the Workday HCM Modules.
  • Understand and document the impact of configuration changes on business processes and communicate them to stakeholders.
  • Support test activities by providing input for test cases recommended for configuration changes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine appropriate action plans for break/fix issues, including impacted employees/users/data clean-up.

  • Proven experience in configuring Workday modules and managing Workday operations.
  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM modules, including configuration and customization capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels and from all functions.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Fluency in English; German language skills desirable but not essential.
  • Workday certification(s) and testing experience would be a distinct advantage.
